Toy Drive - 2009 - Was A Great Success. Thank You!

 

 

 

 

On Sunday, December 13, 2009, the Second annual Santa’s Beach Park Holiday Toy Drive will be held. This drive is modeled after the successful Davis Island Toy Drive, which is now in its 8th year. Santa and his elves will be travelling in his sleigh through the streets of Beach Park accepting toy donations for Tampa’s less fortunate children. All collected toys will benefit children at local charities including The Spring of Tampa Bay and Hope Children’s Home.

 

The procession will begin on Culbreath Avenue at 4:30pm, and follow the route indicated on the map, on the website, below.  In late November, look for SANTA STOP signs throughout Beach Park...He will be stopping! Have a party; gather for Sunday dinner with friends and family as we await Santa’s arrival! Use this time to spread holiday cheer and celebrate the spirit of the holiday season.

 

Together, we can give a little Christmas to many needy children, and show our children that giving is just as important and rewarding as receiving. Plus, it’s fun!

Everyone here at the North Pole is busy preparing for Christmas, and soon I'll be leaving the North Pole to deliver toys to wonderful boys and girls like you. This year, I need your help filling my sleigh with toys to make the holiday season brighter for many needy children in Tampa. On December 13, my elves and I are bringing my beautiful sleigh and reindeer to Beach Park. Come out to see us, and if you can, please bring a gift for another child to help make Christmas merry for everyone! Feel the joy of giving!
